Third Mantra of the Yajurveda –
vasoh pavitramasi shatadharam vasoh pavitramasi sahastradhaaram.
Devstvaa Savita punatu vasoh pavitrena shatdhaarena supva kamadhuksah:
The original mantra in sanskrit –
वसोः पवित्रम् असि शतधारं वसोः पवित्रम् असि सहस्रधारम् ।
देवस् त्वा सविता पुनातु वसोः पवित्रेण शतधारेण सुप्वा ।
काम् अधुक्षः ॥
Meaning of the mantra –
1. There is a sustainer and purifier in the cosmos and beyond, it is the purifier and sustainer of the universe & the countless worlds in the universe, and is known as yajna in this mantra.
2. This sustainer and the purifier is the creator, and it sanctify all the process, it is known as savita in this mantra
