“What is all this?” in ancient philosophy refers to the universal, existential or fundamental big questions about existence, universe, life, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and reality, seeking wisdom and understanding beyond empirical science, exploring concepts like life, meaning, truth, justice, beauty, and consciousness through rational, philosophical or critical inquiry and logical argument. It’s about questioning assumptions, analyzing concepts, and exploring deep principles of conduct, principle of the universe and beyond.
In ancient philosophy, “What is all this?” represents a fundamental quest to understand existence, life, universe and reality by examining concepts like Life, universe, matter, knowledge, values, human life and the human condition.
Why is all this exist?
It is the desire to achieve wisdom, philosophy ( “philosophia” ) and a comprehensive worldview, moving beyond not mere opinion or storytelling but also goes to philosophy to employ rational argument and systematic inquiry into life’s biggest, most persistent questions.
1. Scientific Perspective:
The Observable Universe?
Is all this is the observable universe? What is all this? What modern science says? According to the modern science, this is the portion of the universe that we can currently observe due to the finite speed of light and the age of the universe. It’s estimated to be about 93 billion light-years in diameter.
The Big Bang Theory:
This is the prevailing model for the universe’s origin and evolution. It posits that the universe began from an extremely hot, dense state and has been expanding and cooling ever since.
Composition:
The universe is thought to be composed of ordinary matter, dark matter, and dark energy. Dark matter and dark energy are not directly observable but are inferred from their gravitational effects.
Ongoing Expansion:
The universe is still expanding, and the rate of expansion appears to be accelerating, possibly due to dark energy.
All this encompasses everything.
What is all this? From a universe perspective? “All this” encompasses everything that exists – all matter, energy, space, and time. It includes everything from the smallest subatomic particles to the largest observable structures like galaxies and galaxy clusters, and even the vast expanse beyond what we can currently observe. It also encompasses the fundamental forces of nature and the laws that govern them.
Earth’s Place:
From a practical standpoint, “all this” includes our solar system, our galaxy (the Milky Way), and our place within the larger cosmic structure.
Human Impact:
Understanding the vastness and complexity of the universe can help us appreciate our planet’s fragility and the importance of protecting it.
Scientific Exploration:
Studying the universe helps us develop new technologies and expand our understanding of the fundamental laws of nature.

2. Philosophical Perspective:
From a philosophical standpoint, “all this” raises questions about the meaning of existence, our place in the universe, and whether there’s a larger purpose or design.
Human Perception:
Our understanding of the universe is shaped by our limited perspective and the way our brains process information. This raises questions about the nature of reality and whether our perception accurately reflects the true nature of things.
Different Interpretations:
Different cultures and belief systems offer various interpretations of the universe, ranging from religious and spiritual perspectives to philosophical and scientific ones.
Philosophy question.
The philosophical question “What is all this?” explores the fundamental questions and fundamental reasons about reality, existence, knowledge and the meaning of life.
In essence, “what is all this?” from a universe perspective is a vast and complex question with no single, definitive answer. It encompasses the entirety of existence, from the smallest particles to the largest structures, and invites exploration from multiple perspectives.
Everything we see is subject to change.
Whatever this is, it is all changeable, being changeable and dynamic it is not easily understood. Deep analysis is required to understand this.
Everything is about to change, What is visible also changes. There is change in that too. And that which is not visible also changes.
Mysterious quest of the universe
What is all this? Whose form is all this? Where did it come from? Why don’t we understand all this? What is all this you see?
Why is all this not easily understood?
The universe still remains a mystery, as significant portions of the cosmos, such as dark matter and dark energy, are not yet understood by scientists. Mysteries include the exact nature of gravity, the ultimate fate of the universe, and anomalies like the cold spot in the cosmic microwave background. Despite advanced technology, human understanding of the universe is limited, highlighting that our knowledge is still in its infancy compared to the vastness and complexity of the cosmos.
3. Spiritual Perspective:
Dynamic creation of god?
Everything of the world has movement. There is motion in the sun, earth, moon, stars, there is movement in each of their fragment. That’s why all the creations that are visible in the universe are dynamic. Where is the movement coming from in all these creations? Is this movement accidental? No, there is someone who provides this movement, some ‘master’, some ‘supreme being’ or God.
Is this all life?
Everything in the universe has a movement, movement means life, if there is no life then even movement is not visible. There is motion in everything in the world, so whatever it is, it is all a part of life.
All this is a form of existence.
This all is dynamic.
What’s all this? It’s all dynamic, this all is dynamic. What is it that we are seeing? What we are seeing is known. What is it that we do not see? What we do not see is the unknown. What is this visible and invisible? Some visuals are in our eyes, some in our mind. What is it that you see with your eyes? What is it showing in the mind? And what is it that is not visible? What is the secret of all this? Is there any theory that can explain to us what this is all about?
Is Everything all this is God?
Everything that is visible cannot be called God. Since all this is made of energy, there is energy behind it, so all this can be called Energy. The source of all power and energies is primal energy. So Primal energy is the Divine Universal Mother of all things. Fundamentally, this all can be called primordial energy.
State of consciousness?
Everything is a state of consciousness” is a philosophical and spiritual concept that asserts that all reality is fundamentally composed of consciousness and its various states, rather than physical objects existing independently. This perspective posits that there is no experience or object that exists outside of consciousness, making consciousness the ultimate reality, while physical objects are seen as aspects or manifestations within it.
Consciousness is fundamental:
This viewpoint suggests that consciousness is not just a product of the brain but the very essence of existence
What is the secret of all this?
The conclusion: To summarise, it is all a state of consciousness. Ancient science and philosophy reveals that ”everything is the levels of consciousness, in other words, everything is the state of consciousness.”
