What is beyond meditation?

Meditation in sanskrit means Dhyana. Beyond Dhyana or Meditation, yogi or a meditator goes into a higher level state known as Samadhi.

After attaining Higher level state or Samadhi state, continuous practice leads to much higher stages in samadhi. Some of such higher levels are:
Vicharanugata sampraznatha samadhi,
Anandanugata sampraznathasamadhi, and
Dharmamegha Samadhi and so on.
When yogi perfects Dharmamegha Samadhi attains “Vivekaja Znana”.

Vivekaja Gyana

On attaining Vivekaja Znana yogi becomes MAHARSHI.

Application of intellect born knowledge.

Yogi when performs Samyama – Dharana = concentration, Dhyana = meditation and Samadhi=Spiritual Cognition, on the succession of Manifestation =Evolution and corresponding succession of Kshana = moments, acquires the knowledge of the object of Samyama. This is known as

“Intellect- Born – Knowledge
=Knowledge-Of-Discrimination”

How does a Maharshi acquire unimaginable amount of knowledge in a very short time?

Through Vivekaja Gyana one acquires the knowledge of objects in all conditions,
Past, present and future. Here there is no succession and acquires knowledge in all spheres and respects in a single moment.
