ये त्रिषप्ताः परियन्ति विश्वा रूपाणि बिभ्रतः । वाचस्पतिर्बला तेषां तन्वो अद्य दधातु मे ॥१॥
Ye trishapta pariyanti vishva rupani bibhratah
vacaspatirbala tesaam tanvo adya dadhatu me.
Meaning of the mantra.
1. There are Seven elements, which makes all the forms.
2. There is a owner or the lord of all these five elements, which is known as vachaspati in this mantra.
3. Now May Vachaspatih, the master of language with grammar, impart to me the knowledge of the origin and scope of the system of those triple seven vibhaktis, the inflections of the grammatical cases which bear the various names and forms.
