Covers diverse subjects like genealogy of gods and goddesses, kings, heroes, saints and deities, folk tales, pilgrimage, temples, medicine, astronomy, grammar, mineralogy, humor, love. Stories, as well as theology and philosophy.
Vedas, Upanishads and six philosophical texts are not included in this, all these come under vedic literature.
