Constraints in scientific studies

Present day Scientific Research involves emphasis on specialized subjects and in that specialized topics, one gets recognition by the number of individual papers published in reputed scientific journals duly subjected to Peer review.

Some of the problems which diverts the true scientific enquiry:

1. The influence of profit motive for business and sponsored papers.
2. Deep rooted prejudices influencing peer reviews.
3. Shadow writings in the name of reputed authors.

4. Huge amount of bibliography and copious references restrict the study to the areas which are already progressed to some extent. New frontiers without references and which are beyond the competence of existing peers are fought with negativity.

5. Specialisation in Research reveals the knowledge of a particular while no idea of the whole tree and its constituents. The knowledge of forest is not finding a place.

6. Study of individual drugs necessitating huge expenditure and approvals involving time periods is common while the study of overall impact of multiple drugs on human system is not judged.

Conclusion.

Constraints in scientific studies are due to limited concentration or focus.

We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are
